Days Six, Seven & Eight- The Weekend!

Whassup y'all!

I gotta play catch up for the weekend journal, so here goes:

FRIDAY- had the requisite poot-inducing boiled eggs & canadian bacon for breakfast; gorged myself on chicken & broccoli for lunch; skipped dinner; ate a tsp. of peanut butter for a snack. I did the 4/12 exercise again, this time focusing on calves and butt.

SATURDAY- nibbled on some nasty ass eggs with cheese and bacon from McDonald's for breakfast; ate chicken strips and collards for lunch; snacked on a couple of wing dings and chips and skipped dinner. Angie, I know you got a smart ass comment on the chips & ginger ale, but don't forget that you were right there with me, nukka. Being I went to Target, Sam's & the mall and was "woe out", I didn't exercise.

Because of that "fake me out" ass weather we had Saturday night, we didn't go to the Hyperlink for the martini sip.

SUNDAY- ate a 3 egg omelet with ham & cheese for breakfast; had 1 spinach, roma, broccoli & mozerella stuffed chicken breast with string beans for dinner. I walked a mile with a "sweat bag".

Overall, I felt great over the weekend. I dranks LOTS of water, and was in a good mood in general.

There's some debate going on about vinegar pills. Any thoughts?

Day Five- It's Gonna Be a Long Hard One!

No, you nasty beyotches! I'm not talking about dicks!

I'm talking about dieting for the next two weeks. Like I said before, I picked up the South Beach Two Week thingy, and I'm at a loss for breakfast and snack options ( If I eat another egg, I'll scream).

We're going to the "Funk & Groove Martini Sip" this weekend at the Hyperlink...I'm not supposed to drink alcohol, but you think I'mma miss out on a specialty martini, you're smoking.

For breakfast, I had 2 slices of canadian bacon & 2 boiled eggs (yep, became a victim of the Poots). Lunch was salmon, steamed broccoli and a ceaser salad. I snacked on a tsp. of peanut butter, and dinner was a paltry serving of sardines. By the way, I have been keeping up with my water consumption.

I EXERCISED AGAIN!!!!

I was forced to do a ghetto/bootleg rendition of cardio & calistenics (sp?) because of the cold. I swear if I had gloves and a scarf, I can walk even if it's real cold outside (makes mental note to get gloves & scarf this weekend- I stretched, jogged in place (arms pumping) for 10 minutes, and did 10 minutes of hamstring & quadracep work. 4 sets of 12 reps each, alternating, no breaks in between-- and I even sweated a bit. I'll scan in the cards that I got & post them so you guys can use them too.

I'm feeling pretty good! I've been pissing like a drunk racehorse from the extra water I've been drinking...getting up in the middle of the night & shit. I have to get weighed so I'll know what my start point was.

Day Four- On a Roll!!!

This was an interesting day! Dare I say great day!

I've decided to go ahead & do the South Beach Diet, 2 week cleanse. Just to rid my body of the excess, and help wean it from my weaknesses. Afterwards, I'll be smart about my meals, and indulge occasionally.

For breakfast, I ate 2 boiled eggs- even though I knew that I'd get the poots. Lunch, I had another small turkey wrap. Snacked on a handful of peanuts. Dinner, I ate a bacon ranch salad with grilled chicken from McDonald's. I went to the grocery store & picked up a few things to help me on my way.

I EVEN EXERCISED!!!!!!!!!!! That's right, y'all. I walked a mile (briskly)....took me about 18 minutes to do it, even stretched and cooled down & shit! Got a chance to inhale the air, and pooted the entire time (thankd god I walked alone). And I felt GREAT the rest of the day!

Overall, I can't say it enough, I feel great- even mentally. I can't wait until the 2 weeks is up, though.

Are we getting together over the weekend, damnit????!!!!

Day Three- Let the Starvation Begin!

I "officially" started that 5-day jump start diet, and damn....it's a challenge!

For breakfast (that's right!), I ate an orange and a handful of peanuts. Lunch, I ate a small turkey wrap with lettuce, white american cheese and ranch dressing. Snacked on 2 slices of deli turkey meat. By 3:30, I thought my ribs were touching my spine I was so hungry.

I began craving oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. But, thanks to Teressa, I resisted the urge to print out that recipe & go home to bake...I ate an apple instead! For dinner, I had 2 slices of carved turkey w/ gravy & potatoes.

I'm kicking myself 'cause I didn't exercise, but I'm prepared to walk during my lunch break!!! I'll try Dance-Dance this weekend.

Overall, I have to keep reminding myself that I'm stronger than I've been behaving, and I can have a goodie or two on the weekend. Chocolate chip cookies, as good as they are, are not that serious, and I have to start acting like it.....yeah right. I LOVE to eat, and we need to get together for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner over the weekend girls!

Day Two- What the Fuck???

Okay, I'm hyped about that National Body Challenge sponsored by Discovery. I'm sending y'all the link & shit, and come to find out, the registration is closed. So-o-o-o, I found another site that I'm referring to called ivillage, and they have a fitness category. I'm doing the 5-day jump start diet where I starve myself for 5-days to get my metabolism going & burning fat reserves.

Okay, so I don't actually starve myself, but eating 2 tsp of peanuts & an orange for breakfast isn't cutting it for a chick that loves cheesesteak omelets.

Here goes:

Yesterday, I (again) skipped breakfast, ate New England Clam Chowder for lunch. Got pissed off and snacked on a Nutrageous bar & Doritos, ate 2 chicken wings and rice & sauce for dinner...at almost 9 o'clock last night.

Didn't exercise, but again, will make every effort tonight. I was mad yesterday, and said "Fuck the World, Don't Ask Me for Shit!!" and ate Nutrageous.

How did I feel overall? (refer to the previous sentence). I REALLY need to get to a reliable scale so I can record my weight. I have a fitness journal that's gonna help out a lot (I like writing shit down), and I can write my meals in advance.

Anybody know of any good fit breakfasts??

Day One, Chicas!!!!

Girls, this is it! Our new home for chronicling our weightloss journey!

Let's play catch up.

Friday, I skipped breakfast, gorged myself on 2 small chicken salad on croissants & a lemon tart for lunch, and I ate a frozen pork chop dinner for dinner.
Saturday, I had a sausage, egg & cheese biscuit for breakfast, seafood platter for lunch, and leftover seafood platter for dinner--along with a smattering of chocolate chip cookies (2).
Sunday, I had 4 strips of bacon, cheese eggs and a pancake for breakfast, a tiny chicken sandwich for lunch, and a frozen pork chop dinner for dinner--with another smattering of choco chip cookies (2) and a bag of popcorn.

The only exercise I got was walking around the Home & Garden Expo, and a few blocks to an ATM & the car. I will get to Dance-Dance Revolution tonight.

I'm still feeling shitty, as I ate like a classic fat bitch over the weekend....but I dranks lots of water, though! To tell the truth, I've been in a funk lately, and that's making it even harder to get in gear.

If you like, register at www.discovery.com/health for the National Body Challenge. It has advice, tools, and a "body shaper" to help get you motivated. This might help me a tad bit.

I'm debating on giving Anthony this blog address...he said that he would come on here and talk shit to us....maybe I do need that to help get my ass in gear!

Any encouraging words, ladies?
