Day Ten- The Egg & I

First off, I'd like to say "Welcome" to my cousin, Lisa. She joined us yesterday. Lisa, if you don't mind, would you list your goals and concerns in your next post? We serve as a support group, and in order for us to do so, we need to know what you're looking to accomplish or what you're having problems with.

I was SO hungry yesterday. Why? Because I refused to eat another stupid egg for breakfast. So I did green tea instead. And for lunch, I had cabbage and 1 1/2 pieces of small barbecue chicken breast....and it was nasty. Dinner was grilled chicken salad from McDonald's. Did the water the entire day as usual.

Let me tell you about the exercise. I went to the VSU track with Anthony & Fanecha, and walk/ran 2, that's right, 2 miles! That damn Fanecha, RAN 2 miles and WALKED 1 1/2! Who'd have thought that she could run with all that ass for as long as she did. But, she was in the army for a few years, and she has a VERY physical job loading product for Pepsi. My legs felt rubbery by the time I was done, but I felt great.

Overall, I feel good with the exception of being on my period. I hate my period...love to see it for the first day, but after "confirmation", I'm ready for that bitch to go away. I've noticed that since I changed my diet, I feel better physically, and exercise makes me feel even better.

    Well Yesterday was a good day for me. I'm finally over my cold, so I took advantage of my gym membership and got my little workout on! I worked out on the elliptical machine for like 21 minutes and then I worked on my pecks a little. Since its that time of the month for me as well, I tired out real fast. This Friday I'll participate in my first cycling class (wish me luck)!

    My diet yesterday consisted of a handful of dry raisin brain and water for breakfast. Lunch: Slice of pepperoni pizza with a side salad & iced green tea. Dinner: Two ham biscuits, (3) deviled egg halves two famous amos cookies (2) cups of Hot green tea & water.

    My plan is to simply lower my caloric and fat intake and to work out at least 4 times a week for at least 30min. My only restrictions will be NO soda, carbonated drink, Juice drinks with less than 50% juice, fried foods & white (bleached) starches. I will limit my sweet & salty foods. My goal is to tone & tighten my arms, abs, thighs, and ass.

    Also I'm gonna seriously try only eating when I'm hungry and not just eating when I'm bored (serious problem on the weekends when I'm home alone).

    For the most part I feel okay! But what I need to do is confront the scale and find out how much I really weigh.
